What information do I collect

I have to hold the details of the people who have requested the service in order to provide it. However, I only use these details to provide the service the person has requested and for other closely related purposes.

I use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver my e-newsletters. I gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help me monitor and improve my e-newsletter.

People who make a complaint to us
I try to meet the highest standards when collecting and using personal information. For this reason, I take any complaints I receive about this very seriously. I encourage people to bring it to my attention if they think that my collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate. I would also welcome any suggestions for improving my procedures.
When I receive a complaint from a person I make up a file containing the details of the complaint. This normally contains the identity of the complainant and any other individuals involved in the complaint.
I will only use the personal information I collect to process the complaint and to check on the level of service I provide. I usually have to disclose the complainant’s identity to whoever the complaint is about. This is inevitable where, for example, the accuracy of a person’s record is in dispute. In the event of a breach I will contact the ICO within 72 hours of noting the breach and contact those affected thereafter with details.
